" The history of the humanity has always been an overtaking of the existing, a discount in perpetual past acquirements the reason for the construction of a better world: in all domains without exception, technology has evolved to improve the fruitfulness and comfort of life. The construction technology doesn't escape this law.

In Tunisia and in the world, floors made of pre-stressed balks began to supplant the so called traditional floors composed of hourdises and ribs in reinforced concrete because it presents many advantages: economy, speed of execution and quality of balks.

But as for all technologies, the past doesn't disappear as merely that one can believe it: the past and the future can fight each other for years: the past waving the sword of the tradition and the very being of the immobilism, the future on the contrary charging with the weapon of the performance and the comfort.

While engaging the GEP besides that a quarter of century in this battle and already on the side of progress, we took position in this battle and took risks. Today, we harvest fruits of so much abnegation and determination.
