HISTORY
When it was created in 1978, the GEP (GENERALE
DE PRECONTRAINTE) manufactured only beams and pre-stressed
concrete; we bought ceramic structural floor units to re-sell
them. In 1982, due to the long delivery times of the ceramic manufacturers
and the faulty quality of their products, the GEP
purchased machines to manufacture our own concrete structural
floor units.
In 1991, in order to increase throughputs and improve
quality, the GEP installed a press to manufacture
superior quality concrete structural floor units. The GEP
owned truck fleet ensures the timely delivery of our products
nationwide.
ACTIVITIES
The GEP is classified
as a Construction Materials Manufacturer with a total staff strength
of 85 people. The GEP mainly manufactures:
Pre-stressed balks and beams;
Concrete structural floor units;
These pre-stressed balks and structural floor units
are used for floors of blocks.
We also manufacture other reinforced concrete
products such as elements for water networks, reinforced concrete
elements for fencing, decorative concrete elements and other custom
made concrete products.
We provide a comprehensive study to determine the
quantities required of each item and prepare a non-obligation
quote. Upon confirmation of the order, we provide our customer
with the blue prints that show how to mount our products on the
construction site.
